　　高考英語知識素材積累

　　(一)as 使用及總結(jié)

　　倍數(shù)詞與as

　　1.倍數(shù)詞+as…as 是…的幾倍

　　他用功的程度是我的三倍

　　He studies three times as hard as I.

　　2. One and a half times as…as… 是…的一倍半

　　He is eight years old, and I am one and a half times old as he.

　　他8歲，我12 歲。

　　3.More than+(倍數(shù)詞+as…as…)是…的幾倍還不止

　　=倍數(shù)詞+more than He studies three times harder than I.

　　一、as…as 結(jié)構(gòu)的基本用法

　　其基本意思為“與……一樣”，其中的先進(jìn)個as副詞，其后通常接形容詞或副詞(用原級)，第二個as可用作介詞(后接名詞或代詞)或連詞(后接從句)。使用時應(yīng)注意以下幾點：

　　He runs as fast as John ( runs fast)

　　1. 在否定句中，先進(jìn)個 as 也可換成 so：

　　He doesn’t study as so hard as his brother. 他學(xué)習(xí)不如他弟弟努力。

　　2. 在該結(jié)構(gòu)的兩個as之間通常接形容詞或副詞的原級，但若涉及數(shù)量或程度，可用“as much+不可數(shù)名詞+as”和“as many+可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)+as”：

　　You’ve made as many mistakes as I have. 你犯的錯誤和我犯的一樣多。

　　I haven’t got as much money as I thought. 我不像原來想像的有那么多錢。

　　其間接形容詞時，有時該形容詞還可修飾另一名詞，但這個名詞應(yīng)帶有不定冠詞(注意詞序)：

　　She is as good a cook as her mother. 她和她媽媽一樣是位好廚師。

　　也可說：She is a cook as good as her mother.

　　但不說：She is as a good cook as her mother. 或They are as good cooks as us.

　　二、關(guān)于第二個as的詞性

　　第二個as后接從句時，該as通常為連詞，但有時這個as還充當(dāng)其后從句的主語或賓語，此時該as實為關(guān)系代詞。如：

　　I gave him as much as he could eat. 他能吃多少，我就給了他多少。

　　We’ve got food for as many people as want it. 我們的食物，無論多少人吃都夠了。

　　注：若第二個as用作連詞引導(dǎo)一個表示將來意義的從句，則該從句可用現(xiàn)在時表示將來，也可直接使用將來時態(tài)。如：

　　We’ll get there as soon as you do [will]. 你一到，我們就到。

　　三、as…as…結(jié)構(gòu)的修飾語

　　該結(jié)構(gòu)根據(jù)情況可用使用以下修飾語：(not) nearly, almost, just, nothing like, exactly, not quite, half, one-ten, twice, three times, 30 per cent等，并且這些修飾語必須置于先進(jìn)個as之前，而不能置于其后。如：

　　He doesn’t play half as well as his sister. 他演奏的水平不及他姐姐的一半。

　　This dress is twice as expensive as that. 這件連衣裙比那件貴一倍。

　　四、as…as…結(jié)構(gòu)的省略

　　在非正式場合(尤其是美國英語中)，有時可以省略先進(jìn)個as。如：

　　When over forty, he married a woman poor as himself. 他在40多歲時娶了一個像他本人一樣窮的女人。

　　另外，若意思明確，有時可省略第二個as及其后的相關(guān)詞語。如：

　　The pianos in that shop will be cheaper, but not as good. 那家商店的收音機(jī)會便宜些，但質(zhì)量沒那么好。

　　(二)英語書面表達(dá)高級句型整理

　　基本句型要準(zhǔn)確使用

　　1.It is well known that…\ It is a truth universally acknowledged that…

　　It is widely accepted that…\ As we all know, …眾所周知……

　　2. The message conveyed in the picture is that…

　　What is conveyed in the picture is that… 圖畫所傳達(dá)的是……

　　3. As is vividly shown in the picture… 圖片生動地展示了……

　　4. There are various reasons accounting for this phenomenon. 各種原因?qū)е铝诉@一現(xiàn)象。

　　The reason for the phenomenon is that e-commerce plays an increasing significant part in our life.

　　The reason why people become crazy about the shopping carnival is not far to seek.

　　The reasons why ….are as follows.

　　5. Reading is to us what water is to fish. 閱讀之于我們正如水之于魚兒。

　　6. We cannot emphasize the importance of… too much. 我們怎么強(qiáng)調(diào)……的重要性也不為過

　　7. There is no denying that… 不可否認(rèn)，……

　　8. …is one thing. … is quite another. ……是一回事;……是另一回事

　　9. So happy was I that I did…/ Such a happy boy was I that I did… 如此……以致……(so/such放句首，主句部分倒裝)

　　Shy as I was, I managed to speak out. (as倒裝，表示“雖然”)

　　Only if/ when / by … can you… (only放句首，主句倒裝。注意：only不能連接句子，加句子時，要加引導(dǎo)詞) Only if you try hard can you make it.

　　10. On setting foot in the lecture hall, I felt extremely nervous.

　　Hardly had I set foot in the lecture hall when I felt extremely nervous.

　　No sooner had I set foot in the lecture hall than I felt extremely nervous.

　　The moment I set foot in the lecture hall, I felt extremely nervous. 我一進(jìn)入報告廳就覺得很緊張。

　　11. Every time I read the poem, I think of … 每回……

　　12. … see/witness…見證Last year saw/witnessed the T-mall shopping carnival sales reached 35 billion, which is out of/beyond our wildest imagination.

　　13. There is no doubt that… 毫無疑問…… It is no wonder that… 難怪……

　　14. I firmly believe that…/ I am firmly convinced that…我深信……I am firmly convinced that no society can possibly achieve prosperity(繁榮)without rules laying the foundation.

　　15. Given all the above arguments, I embrace the idea that we should never follow the rules blindly. 綜上所述(考慮到以上論據(jù))，我認(rèn)為……
