我的寒假英語作文(1)

寒假是短暫的，但也是快樂的，因為在寒假中有一個我們中華民族獨有的節(jié)日——春節(jié)。在春節(jié)期間老爸老媽帶我探親訪友，和好朋友一起放鞭炮，收壓歲錢，吃各種美味的農(nóng)家菜……但是我還是較喜歡貼春聯(lián)。

除夕的前一天，老爸買來了幾張春聯(lián)，我立刻和老爸說：“把這個艱巨的任務(wù)交給我吧!”老爸同意了，我馬上把膠水沾在春聯(lián)上，然后貼在了門上，本以為這個任務(wù)完成地一帆風(fēng)順，誰想到，一張春聯(lián)讓我犯難了。那上面有;“福”和“吉祥如意”的字樣，可其中有一個是倒著寫的。如果將“福”字貼正，“吉祥如意”就是倒著的，畫面又不可剪開。這畫的設(shè)計者也太粗心了!唉!到底怎么貼呢?我只好向老爸求助，老爸告訴我，以前春聯(lián)是自己或叫別人寫的，改革開放后九十年代春聯(lián)才漸漸開始印刷了，印刷的春聯(lián)既方便又美觀。有一年過年，一戶人家買了張春聯(lián)貼上去，一位鄰居走過來看到說：“哎，你家的福字貼反了!怎么倒著貼啊!”那主人笑瞇瞇地說：“不錯的，沒錯的，現(xiàn)在流行福字倒著貼，這也有它的寓意，意味著福到家了!”那個鄰居紅著臉說：“原來是這樣啊!”聽了老爸講的故事后，我把倒著的福字貼了上去，也明白了這個道理。

一眨眼的功夫，寒假已經(jīng)過去，新學(xué)期已經(jīng)開始，我又期盼下一個快樂的寒假。

在這個快樂的寒假中，我也體驗了一把當(dāng)家長的感覺，原來當(dāng)家長是這么辛苦，我終于體會到了爸媽的不容易。

在寒假里，有一天，媽媽和姐姐都不在家里，家中只剩下了我和爸爸。爸爸在房間里睡覺，我在房間里做功課，一直做到了9點半，我從房間里出來，心想家里只剩爸爸和我，那么就讓我當(dāng)一天家長吧，反正做功課也有這一項啊。之后我就拿起了掃把來掃地了，掃完了大廳就掃廚房，掃完廚房又掃飯廳，然后又掃了房間和走廊，掃完地后已經(jīng)是十一點了，心想都已經(jīng)十一點了，離去煮飯的時間還有40分鐘，還可以看一會電視，看著看著，已經(jīng)到時候去煮飯了，雖然很不舍得離開電視，但是還是去準備了做飯的材料了。

開始做飯啦，看平時媽媽煮飯好像很簡單一樣，但是原來自己做起來是有點難的。首先我把米洗好了，再加點水進去，然后加了一些臘味進去，開電源。接著煮湯。因為湯是昨晚的，所以只要打開開關(guān)就可以了，在煮湯的期間可以去煮菜，等菜煮好后，飯和湯也可以了。簡簡單單的又是一頓飯了。

原來每個人都會有嘗試的時候，在嘗試中不斷的努力，即使失敗了也可以繼續(xù)努力，不斷的嘗試，才會成功。許多的科學(xué)家也是從嘗試中取得成功的。

生活中，每個人都要敢于去嘗試，只有在不斷的嘗試中，才能摸索到前進的方向!
