　　The Qingming (Pure Brightness) Festival is one of the 24 solar terms in China, falling on April 4-6 each year. After the festival, the temperature will rise up and rainfall increase. It is the high time for spring plowing and sowing. In the past, the Qingming Festival was called “Arbor Day”, but since 1979, “Arbor Day” was settled on March 12 according to the Gregorian calendar.

　　清明節(jié)是我國24節(jié)氣之一，在每年農(nóng)歷的4月4-6之間。清明過后，氣溫逐漸上升，雨水也增多，這是春耕播種的好時(shí)機(jī)。在過去，清明節(jié)也被稱作植樹節(jié)，后來從1979年后，植樹節(jié)被定在公歷的5月12日。

　　My father and I went back to the countryside hometown for ancestor's grave. 　　今天是四月五日，清明節(jié)。

　　我和爸爸回到了鄉(xiāng)下老家給祖先上墳。我們來到了祖先的墳前，爸爸用鐵锨把墳塋修繕了一番，然后把帶來的貢品放到墳前，帶著我給祖先磕了三個(gè)頭，起身倒了一碗酒，圍繞墳塋灑了一圈。上完墳，我們就在山里踏青游玩你也可以投稿，高高的山上，有茂盛的樹林，有綠綠的青草，還有清澈的湖水，美麗極了!

　　回家的路上，迎春花、梨花、櫻花爭相盛開，花香四處飄蕩，好多游人在花前拍照留影，一張張笑臉和鮮花一樣美麗，多么幸福呀!爸爸告訴我:清明節(jié)是我們緬懷先烈、祭拜祖先的節(jié)日，也是春暖花開、游玩踏青的節(jié)日。他還給我講了先烈們英勇戰(zhàn)斗、不怕犧牲的革命故事。我聽了很感動，正是先輩們流血流汗、艱辛創(chuàng)業(yè)，才有我們今天的美好生活，所以我們要好好珍惜今天的幸福生活，努力學(xué)習(xí)、健康成長，長大了貢獻(xiàn)力量、報(bào)效國家!

　　Last Qingming Festival,i return home to worship my grandfather.Qingming Festival is a folk Festival.In the past,the Qingming Festival was called "Arbor Day". But Today, Chinese visit their family graves to tend to any underbrush that has grown. Weeds are pulled, and dirt swept away, and the family will set out

　　offerings of food and spirit money. Unlike the sacrifices at a family's home altar, the offerings at the tomb usually consist of dry, bland food. One theory is that since any number of ghosts rome around a grave area, the less appealing food will be consumed by the ancestors, and not be plundered by strangers.

　　With the passing of time, this celebration of life became a day to the honor past ancestors. Following folk religion, the Chinese believed that the spirits of deceased ancestors looked after the family. Sacrifices of food and spirit money could keep them happy, and the family would prosper through good harvests and more children.

　　去年清明節(jié)，我回家拜訪我的祖父。清明節(jié)是民間的節(jié)日。過去，清明節(jié)被稱作植樹節(jié)。但是現(xiàn)在，中國人去往他們的家庭墓地去看那些新生的草木。除去雜草，清理垃圾，家人也會放一些事物和冥錢之類的東西。不像家庭的家用祭壇，在目的放置的東西通常是干燥、刺激性的食物。有一種理論認(rèn)為，既然一個(gè)墓穴旁邊有很多鬼魂，那么缺乏吸引力的食物將會被祖先們食用，而不是被陌生人奪走。
