You are going to hear four conversations. Before listening to each conversation, you will have 5 seconds to read each of the questions which accompany it. After listening, you will 15 seconds to answer each question by choosing A, B, C or D. You will hear each conversation ONLY ONCE. Mark your answers in your test booklet. 　　Questions 1 to 4 are based on a talk by a speaker about his hobbies. 　　

W: Well, Mr. Smith, we have had an interesting discussion about your work. Now, tell us something about your after work activities. 　　

M: I guess not much different from everyone else. I''m interested in sport, and I run about 3 miles every day. I particularly enjoy cross-country running, where you have to run across fields, jump over streams and so on. While I''m running I think about all sorts of things, and at the end of a run I''m sometimes surprised to find that I''ve managed to solve a problem that was on my mind. 　　

Next year I''m going to try the London Marathon. It''s a long, hard race-26 miles, or 42 kilometers-and you have to be tough to finish, but I very much want to do it. I worry a bit about getting old, and I''d like to prove to myself that I''m still almost as fit as I was twenty years ago. 　　

I ''m interested in climbing as well as running. I''ll never become an expert climber, but I know what I''m doing in the mountains. I 　　

successfully completed a course in snow and ice climbing when I was younger, and I''ve done a series of easy climbs in the Alps during the 　　

last few years. My wife doesn''t share my interest in Mountains. She agreed to go climbing with me once, but she found that she felt ill 　　

as soon as she got above 1,000 meters, so we decide to follow different hobbies.

W: You certainly seem to enjoy various types of recreation. All right, Mr. Smith. Thanks for your interesting talk.

準(zhǔn)備技巧

聽(tīng)力準(zhǔn)備

聽(tīng)力部分，建議孩子要重復(fù)訓(xùn)練此部分，同時(shí)建議孩子在訓(xùn)練的時(shí)候加快語(yǔ)速，按原速度的1.5-2倍速度去訓(xùn)練。

做聽(tīng)力部分真題的時(shí)候，先進(jìn)遍做完以后，建議在做第2遍的時(shí)候可以把完整話語(yǔ)復(fù)述下來(lái)，由句復(fù)述到段復(fù)述，由句聽(tīng)寫到段聽(tīng)寫，同時(shí)可以把關(guān)鍵詞匯默寫下來(lái)，進(jìn)一步提高孩子聽(tīng)力能力。

口語(yǔ)準(zhǔn)備

口語(yǔ)訓(xùn)練可以自己一個(gè)人練，當(dāng)然較好是和準(zhǔn)備的同學(xué)一起準(zhǔn)備，互相監(jiān)督，互相提高。同時(shí)，也可以和老師就某些日常話題進(jìn)行專題訓(xùn)練，優(yōu)先準(zhǔn)備相關(guān)素材，水平更容易獲得提高。

KET診斷的語(yǔ)音和口語(yǔ)材料大多來(lái)自真實(shí)生活和工作中的場(chǎng)景，內(nèi)容涉及天氣、健康與鍛煉、場(chǎng)所與建筑、學(xué)校與學(xué)業(yè)等等。所以建議小朋友們多收聽(tīng)歐美廣播、音樂(lè)、觀看電影、動(dòng)畫或者電視節(jié)目對(duì)英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)感和運(yùn)用能力都是有幫助的。
